Technocratic Oath

There’s a lot of ism’s keeping us divided & controlled in society. The most malignant ones, although obvious are often dismissed and categorized as a “cultural norm”. We watch faithfully, unquestionably as technocracy takes over.

My latest work explores notions of the technocratic age we’ve fallen into. As technology advances we are living in a era of “miracles”. Global connection & communication has never before happened at such speed. Sensory overload is an understatement. There’s no space or time for critical thinking as technology is unleashed upon us forcing us to connect to “it”. In the work the human state of mind is transitioned into a virtual realm to be governed by a despotic regime of technocratic ‘gods’. Soon flesh itself will be a thing of the past.

A plague of pseudo masochistic personalities personified as brute beasts along with an interplay of interdimensional beings emerge from the chaos. Portals are opened and the resonance can be felt. The possessor of technology has now become possessed. The work is meant to question who or what is really in control as an immersion hence baptism into this new technological realm takes place. Man and machine are becoming one. Narcissistic, sociopathic and paranormal behavioral patterns take center stage and take full advantage of what has been handed to them. Their grasp easier to be felt as never before.

Induced states of paranoia & psychosis inflict these beasts. Invisible signals manipulate, control & paralyze them with fear. A hypnotic trance ensues cognitive dissidence, anxiety, self hate, misinformation and confusion. To relieve pain and trauma, scapegoats are murdered. The scapegoats blood temporarily provides relief but it’s never enough. The scapegoat must be kept in constant pain and experience no relief in preparation for the daily sacrifice. Nothing has changed since the beginning —men sacrificing men to their idols.
