My work explores Afro futurist narratives as a way of examining Black identity across time—past, present, and speculative futures. Through painting, I investigate how cultural disparities, technology, and imagined dreamscapes intersect to challenge inherited histories and propose new possibilities of existence. Rather than illustrating specific stories, my practice is concerned with creating non-linear, visual spaces that invite reflection on continuity, displacement, and resilience within the African diasporic experience.
